Hallyu idol group, Super Junior was recently appointed as Korea's tourism ambassadors. On July 26th, the Korea Tourism Organization will be signing an MOU (Memorandum of Understanding) with SM Entertainment. Through this agreement between SM Entertainment and the Korea Tourism Organization, it gives an opportunity for cooperation to further develop aspects of the Hallyu wave which include overseas activities, tourism, and more. In addition to the signing, the organization will also present the group with a certificate. Recently, Super Junior was voted as the #1 hallyu star to go on a vacation to Korea with on a poll held by the tourism organization. The president of Korea's Tourism Organization, Lee Cham, revealed, "On the occasion of signing the MOU, both companies are going to help secure the hallyu wave and will work on projects regarding to the development of tourism and entertainment industry".
