CHI CHI's "Longer" music video criticized by broadcast stations for inappropriate content

Posted by mountainmadman27 pts Monday, July 25, 2011

Although CHI CHI's newest single, "Longer", has been drawing praise for its powerful vocals and music, its accompanying music video has been garnering some criticism from broadcasters due to its violent content and revealing costumes. The criticisms focused particularly on a violent scene that took place in a swimming pool. "It was a needed scene for the storyline, so we decided that there wouldn't be a problem," said a representative who added that the music video will be re-edited and submitted for evaluation again. "We were surprised by the broadcast networks' decision, but we have no problem with their opinion." CHI CHI's agency, Yedang Entertainment concluded, "But the scenes in question are important to the video, so we're struggling to find ways on how to edit it." Source: OSEN via Naver
