Via tokyohive: 7-membered Korean girl group T-ARA will be holding a live event in Japan for the very first time on July 5th. Rumors of T-ARA debuting in Japan have been floating around for a while, and the showcase announcement confirms that the girls are finally gearing up for their Japanese debut. T-ara has signed an exclusive contract worth 350 million yen with J-ROCK for their Japanese debut. Under this arrangement to groom them as all-round entertainers, EMI Music Japan will be their record label while they will be managed and marketed by Smile Company, under Johnny's Entertainment. Since debuting�in 2009, the group has recorded several hits, including the collaboration single "TTL (Time To Love)", which was recorded with their labelmates Choshinsei. It�placed #1 on 8 different music sites, and was covered by Nami Tamaki a few months back.�T-ARA also received the Newcomers Award at the 24th Golden Disk Awards, the Korean equivalent of the Grammys. The event will take place at Tokyo's SHIBUYA-AX, where 1,500 fans will be invited to attend for free.
