MBC's "I Am A Singer" will finally resume broadcasting after taking a month-long hiatus due to the various controversies surrounding the show. In an official report made by MBC on April 13th, the network declared:
"'I Am A Singer' will hold its next recording on the 18th, and resume broadcasting on May 1st. The program will continue with the original format of eliminating a legendary singer from a group of seven legendary singers from the Korean music industry. In addition, we will be working to reflect the opinions of the viewers as much as possible for details regarding regulations. The show will be returning with four of the original seven: Lee Sora, Yoon Do Hyun, Park Jung Hyun, and Kim Bum Soo. As you all know, Jung Yeob was eliminated in the last episode, and Kim Gun Mo took a voluntarily leave. Baek Ji Young has decided to voluntarily leave the show as well due to conflicting schedules with her upcoming album production."Stay tuned for more updates. Source: Star News via Nate
