Singer Brian Joo, who recently made a comeback after a year in hiatus with his new title track, "It Ended Amidst Love", explained his mistake in singing the wrong lyrics on last week's episode of SBS's "Inkigayo". During an interview with Newsen on April 11th, Brian explained, "My mistake in singing the wrong lyrics during my comeback on SBS's 'Inkigayo' was not because I was nervous, but because of a personal problem that caused me to lose my focus." Brian forgot the lyrics twice in his comeback performance of "It Ended Amidst Love" on Sunday, causing fans to worry about whether the singer was feeling ill that day. Brian continued, "To be honest, I nearly made a mistake right from the beginning of the song. The moment I started, I couldn't think of the lyrics and I thought it was going to turn out into a disaster. I was able to keep my focus in the end, but I did make a couple of mistakes during my performance. I was meant to show a professional image in front of my fans, so I apologize." Some have speculated that his personal worry sprouted from the controversy that arose from his allegedly controversial stereotypical imitations on MBC's "100 Points Out of 100" this week.
