Actress Yoon Eun Hye confessed that she "worked to death" to rid herself of the label, "singer-turned-actress." On March 7th, Yoon Eun Hye guested on MBC's "Come to Play" to promote her comeback to the big screen after a 5-year hiatus. During the show, Yoon Eun Hye chose her leading role in the popular drama "Coffee Prince" as 'the moment that changed my life'. During a time when she was obsessed with emerging away from her label as a singer-turned-actress, like fate, Yoon Eun Hye received the scenario for "Coffee Prince." She recalled, "Because of the criticisms surrounding my acting, I was in a situation where I had to change everything about myself - from head to toe. After reading 3-pages of the 'Coffee Prince' scenario, I decided that this was a role that I had to play. The thought that 'life or death, I have to do this' came to my mind'." Yoon Eun Hye received the role of Eun Chan, an extreme tomboy. She revealed, "I put in much effort to make everything I did, from even the way I sit, seem like a guy. My eyebrows are naturally on the pretty-side, so I purposefully applied hair restorer. I wanted my voice to be more masculine, so I kept screaming at the karaoke bar; and whenever I bought new clothes, I purposefully wrinkled them and slept in them." As Yoon Eun Hye recalled this difficult time, her eyes reddened with tears. She added, "I'm going to keep working hard in all my future projects, but I worry that I won't fulfill expectations, which makes me that much more cautious and sensitive" - confessing her worries as an actress.
