As a response to the growing Hallyu wave, Japan will be opening their own theater hall catering specifically to K-pop.
On March 23rd, Japan's Sankei Sports reported, "This May, Tokyo's Yebisu Garden Place will be opening Japan's first ever K-pop exclusive theater, 'K-Theater Tokyo.'"
The one-floor concert hall fits a 200 member audience and is optimized for music concerts to provide a lively and vivid experience. Representatives revealed, "We hope to express the quality of K-pop music through Yebisu Garden's theater."
The first group to perform in the 'K-Theater Tokyo' will be 21-member boy band, 'A Peace.'
