Supernova completes their sold out Japanese tour

Supernova are currently earning explosive popularity in Japan.

After making their Korean comeback in August, the group set off back to Japan on September 21st in order to prepare for their "2010 Supernova Jumping Concert." Their concert was entirely sold out, with 6,000 fans gathering to see Supernova at the last stop of their tour at Tokyo International Forum. Tickets for the concert already sold out in the beginning of September, but many fans reported that they had bought auctioned tickets for $1,350 USD. The October 2nd concert in Nagoya sold out its 3,000 seats, along with the Osaka concert on the 4th selling out 3,400 seats.

The line for the Tokyo International Forum concert on the 9th reached nearly 100 meters in length. Fans each held placards with various support messages written in Korean. Supernova's agency commented, "The age group of the fans were diverse from teens to those in their 50s. We also saw a lot of daughters bring their mothers along. It was definitely a passionate time that allowed everyone to see why Supernova swept the Oricon charts." Supernova performed a total of 23 songs, consisting of their nine Japanese singles that managed to rank in the top 6 of the Oricon charts nine times in a row. Leader Yoon Hak concluded the concert by stating, "We would like to bow our heads to thank those that allowed us to be where we are today. We will always be making sure that the love you give us is not repaid with embarrassment." With their tour coming to an end, Supernova will be returning to Korea on the 10th for their Korean activities and going back to Japan on the 20th. Source + Photos: Newsen Tip: sergel02
