September 30th kicks off the annual Los Angeles Korean Festival, which not only provides an opportunity for everyone to learn and appreciate Korean culture, but also gives you chance to view the awesome performances throughout this exciting four-day event. The theme of this year's festival is the 'Melting Pot of Cultural Diversity,' which celebrates the opportunity that all cultures can live in harmony in the United States. There will be awesome appearances and performances waiting for you on each day of the festival. For the opening ceremony on Thursday, Winter Olympics Gold Medalist and world renowned figure skater Kim Yuna will be making an appearance. There will also be a performance by Tal Taekwondo. Tal Taekwondo is a troupe of Korean national team Taekwondo atheletes, dancers, world-class percussionists, etc. You can check out their performance below: Friday is the main attraction, featuring the Wonder Girls concert and a performance by Clara Chung and the talented local indie band Feats and Inches. An all blind Children's orchestra - Hanbit Performing Arts Company, who have also appeared on Star King will also put on a performance. There will be a Korea Times parade on Saturday, as well as a local youth talent show where JYP Entertainment representatives will be seeking out potential trainees. Finally, the festival wraps up on Sunday with performances by Kollaboration-affiliated acts, a 3-on-3 hip hop competition, and the closing ceremony.
