Korea's Samsung Electronics, the world's largest electronics company is currently marketing 3DTV's as the next big thing in Display technology. With this in mind they've announced a partnership with Avatar director James Cameron on 3D content. It's been recently made known that SM Entertainment is also planning on joining in on this partnership. Both Samsung and Cameron have a common goal and that's to boost the sales of 3DTV's, so how does SM Entertainment play into this? Well, it's said that Cameron and the production crew of Avatar will film various SM Entertainment concerts in 3D and Samsung in turn will display this concert footage on their 3DTV's in stores. A media conference is scheduled to take place on the 14th at 11AM. Scheduled for attendance is President of Samsung TV, Yoon Boo Kun, SM Entertainment Chairman, Lee Soo Man and James Cameron. Also scheduled to be in attendance is TVXQ / DBSK / Tohoshinki's Yunho and Changmin, BoA and various other SM Entertainment artists. James Cameron is scheduled to leave back to Los Angeles along with his wife shortly after the media conference concludes. Hopefully, Korea's LG Electronics, the world's second-largest manufacturer of televisions will announce some exciting news about 3DTV's and idols soon as well. Thanks to asada88 for the tip.
