TBS Japan who bought over distribution rights for IRIS in Japan have enlisted actor Tatsuya Fujiwara and actress Meisa Kuroki to do voiceovers for the drama. IRIS has been receiving a lot of attention in Japan due to the fact that Hallyu star, Lee Byung Hun plays the leading man while part of the drama had been filmed in Akita, Japan. After buying the rights for a record $4.2 million dollars, TBS Japan will air the drama starting April 24th in a prime-time slot, normally reserved for Japanese dramas. Tatsuya Fujiwara who is famous for his movies like Battle Royale and Death Note, will be doing the voiceover for Lee Byung Hun's character, Hyun Joon while Meisa Kuroki will do likewise for Kim Tae Hee's character, Seung Hee. Others who will be doing voiceovers include Masato Kobayashi, Hiroki Matsukata and Yuu Shirota. IRIS is really a blockbuster, with all these top stars doing voiceovers.
