Having celebrated his 29th birthday this past weekend, it was revealed that Lee Junki might have to give up on the chance of acting in the drama, Faith. Lee Junki have already deferred many times in the past and according to Korean military regulations, the latest a fit male must enter the army is when he's 29. Judging from the present situation, it would be difficult to defer once again if an enlistment notice comes his way this time. While he is likely to be able to complete filming for his movie, Grand Prix, it looks impossible for him to take on the drama, Faith which is scheduled for broadcast in the latter half of 2010. With the drama having 24 episodes, the completion of the drama is likely to be at the beginning of next year. Mentor Entertainment expressed, "Lee Junki will be enlisting but because we haven't got any notice yet, the exact date and time aren't confirmed yet. We understand the time constraints for the filming of Faith but we are doing our best to coordinate the schedule. We will be filing for a deferment if we get the notice before the filming. But if it doesn't get approved, he will have to give up on the drama."
