After rejecting an offer to be a permanent member on Family Outing Season 2, Kim Hyun Joong has declined another offer. This time around, it's a movie. Last year, Kim Hyun Joong was offered the lead role for an upcoming movie titled "You're My Pet." The movie is about an editor who ends up meeting a "pretty boy"; the two end up living together and a relationship develops. If the storyline or name sounds familiar to you, it's because the movie is an adaptation of the Japanese manga of the same name. There was also a Japanese drama that aired back in 2003 with Arashi's Matsumoto Jun as the lead character. There are no specific reasons as to why Hyun Joong declined the offer but it may have been due to actress Soo Ae's decline to play the leading woman. Or maybe Hyun Joong's tired of playing a "pretty boy." Or maybe being called a "pet" didn't sit too well with him. Well, whatever the reason, it'll be interesting to see who the producers will cast for the movie!
