The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office has spoken and Super Junior's Kang In (real name: Kim Young Woon) has been slapped with a hefty fine of 8,000,000 Won (approximately $8,000 USD) for his DUI and hit-and-run incident back in 2009. On October 16th, a heavily inebriated Kangin crashed into a parked taxi that was occupied with three passengers and fled the scene of the accident. He turned himself in eventually - 6 hours afterwards, to be precise - but the case was still deemed as a hit-and-run. His blood alcohol content was reported at 0.082%. Since then, SM Entertainment has discontinued all of Kangin's activities, including that with Super Junior, and he has remained in hiding to re-evaluate his careless actions. Unfortunately for Kangin, it looks like this issue won't subside with a simple "sorry sorry." May his lesson be learned: never drink and drive, then hit a car and run away.
